Pao Yang came to the U.S. when he was 6 years old from the Refugee Camps of Thailand in 1979. He is the President & CEO at The Fresno Center, a non-profit 501c (3) organization in Fresno that provides an array of social services, advocacy, immigration, leadership training, educational services, as well as prevention and clinical behavioral health services to the low-income minority community in Fresno County. The Fresno currently has over 120 staff who are culturally and linguistically proficient.
